Born and raised in England, Zahra is a passionate educator and scientist who has made Nairobi her home. She earned a BSc in Pharmacology from the University of Bristol, followed by an MSc in Biopharmacy from King’s College London and a PGCEi from the University of Nottingham.

Following professional experience undertaking clinical research in the United Kingdom, Zahra successfully served as Head of Science and a Teacher of Mathematics at a leading Nairobi preparatory school for half a decade. Returning to the classroom to teach Year 4 and Mathematics, she brings her enthusiasm and experience to a broader curriculum while fostering a love for learning in her young students.

An avid hiker having summited Mount Kenya and Kilimanjaro, Zahra enjoys any opportunity to explore East Africa’s natural beauty and to learn more about its vibrant culture and history.
